Henry Yamada was a forever student. Although he had become an elite-level professional concept artist, he never stopped learning. His desire to continue to grow despite reaching the levels that he had as a concept artist was unparalleled. As a student, his appetite for learning his craft and his work ethic made him a joy to teach. As an instructor, he found out about the Drawaholics Anonymous “2,500 challenge” and was so excited that he decided to do it himself. He was an inspiration to everyone that he came in contact with. For these reasons, we are remembering Henry. He was a special artist and an amazing person. Although he is no longer with us he will never be forgotten.
